About me
Lindsay teaches AP Computer Science Principles, and AP Computer Science A (Java) at Boise High School. She has also taught AP Physics and several various Mathematics classes in her 19 years as an Educator in the Boise School District.
Lindsay has been a Code.org facilitator since 2016 when the AP CS Principles course was created by the college board. She participated in a pilot of Code.org's CSA curriculum, and now is a facilitator and forum moderator for the CSA course. She earned her Masters in Computer Science Education through Boise State's IDoCode program.
Lindsay is passionate about bringing new students into CS by creating a collaborative and welcoming environment in her classroom, and by refining her teaching practice to help meet the changing needs of today's learners. She believes that face to face learning and activities with a caring teacher in the classroom is essential for student success.
