About me
Gina Kwid is an educator in the West Ada School District. She has taught 2nd grade and elementary engineering at Galileo STEM Academy for the past 17 years. In addition to ISTA, she is an active member of the Idaho STEM Ecosystem, ARISS Education Committee, ITEEA, and 100Kin10. She is also a teacher ambassador for UBTECH robotics and a train the trainer for Botball Educational Robotics. She has presented at ISTE, SPACE, and SEEC national conferences on integrating robotics across curricular subjects. Gina is a doctoral candidate at Boise State University in the educational technology department researching factors that increase STEM engagement in underrepresented and racial-minority K12 students.
