About me
Cassie Luna is a dedicated educator who has been striving to make meaningful impact for over 10 years.
Mrs. Luna’s journey in education began in 2011 with earning her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Cum Laude, from Boise State University. After graduation, she began her teaching career as a substitute teacher, and then as an elementary PE and health teacher in the West Ada District in 2013. A year later, Luna was hired at Fairmont Junior High School in Boise, Idaho as an 8th grade health and leadership teacher where she quickly developed a reputation striving to create a positive impact. In addition to teaching, she also has coached, been a mentor, and an instructional and technology lead. Presently, Luna is a learning coach in the Boise District providing a system of support for students and teachers.
Luna is a lifelong learner and consistently seeks out opportunities to improve and evolve her teaching skills. She has attended numerous professional development workshops and conferences and has earned a Master’s of Education degree in Learning and Technology.
